your destination is visible on the map- a POI, park, road…anyplace
in the detailed map—place the cursor over your desired
destination and follow the menu instructions. Routes to nearest
street address (interpolated.)
THALES NAVIGATION7 Street Routing to an Address
or POIStreet routing to an address requires a little more
effort. User can also route to Navtech POIs or User Waypoints
using this method. Note that DirectRoute buffers the previous
10 destinations for re-use
THALES NAVIGATION8 Using DirectRoute GuidanceIn
Map View, user sees highlighted street route. Next maneuver
info is at bottom of screen. As user approaches turn, device
beeps and turn advisory pops upGuidance also works in Maneuver
List View. The active leg is marked with a green pointer.
This view is good for reviewing a route before starting. This
view gives less visual feedback than Map View

active street route New GOTO –recalculates a street
route from current or last known position to new cursor location.PUSHING
“GOTO” TWICE WITH AN ACTIVE ROUTE REROUTES Street
routes become active as soon as they are calculated Street
